BIG NEWS!!
Two more therapists for youth and families starting September 2022
We have two more youth and family therapists joining us in September 2022. Both are fully registered therapists (a MSW, RSW and a RP-Q) and most insurers will cover the costs of their services, just as they do the rest of our team.
One of our new therapists is from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, and will primarily provide services to queer, trans and questioning youth ages 10-25 and families.
The other new therapist provides affirming care and is not from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. He will be available to see all youth ages 10-25 and families.
Both therapists are able to see folks for things like: symptoms of anxiety or depression, self-regulation, parent-child relationship struggles, self-esteem, identity exploration, school issues, problems caused by or made worse by COVID, and more.
Their individual profiles will be added to our site by the end of August.
Please contact our director, Pamela, at pamela@centrepeacelondon.ca or 519-719-3790 ext. 201 for more information about our new therapists and to discuss if they might be a good fit for you or your family.
Interested in working with us?
If you are a Registered Social Worker (MSW) or a Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) and you think you would be a good fit to work on behalf of Centrepeace, please send your cover letter and resume to the director, Pamela Bailey at pamela@centrepeacelondon.ca.
We are currently only seeking therapists that specialize in 2SLGBTQIA+ affirming care in the following areas: pre- and post-natal care; fertility/infertility and/or adoption and parenting; addictions; ADHD, autism, and neurodivergence; trauma; BIPOC experiences including discrimination, racism, islamophobia; couples and polyamorous/ENM relationships, trans-affirming care for adults. In-person (London, ON) and/or video availability will work for these roles.
