Annie is a neurodivergent, queer, agender white settler raised by Sardinian immigrants. They have lived experience as a queer person, of being chronically ill and as a survivor of complex, sexual, & developmental traumas.
They see youth ages 12-20, families, individual adults & seniors 60+. They work with folks from the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and our allies. Annie supports people who are dealing with symptoms of anxiety and depression, low self-esteem, relationship and family issues, peer issues, interpersonal violence (IPV) and general struggles with mood and self-regulation.
Their practice is rooted in social justice and they operate from a trauma informed, anti-oppressive framework. They approach people with compassion and an unconditional positive regard and take a relational, person-centred approach to providing wholistic care. Annie is also an art therapist and uses expressive modalities like art, drama, music, dance, and play if/when their clients wish.
