Counselling is an investment in yourself, your family, and in your overall quality of life. It is an investment in your children, in their relationship with you and with the rest of the world.       
Registered Social Work Services and Registered Psychotherapy Services (including qualifying therapists) are covered by many extended health care plans. Your insurance provider can tell you whether our services are covered under your plan. Registered social work and psychotherapy services are considered health expenses and can be claimed on your income tax return. 
Fees for services by Registered Therapists
$130 to $160      50-minute session
$180 to $250     80-minute session
**13% HST is applied to psychotherapy services. There are no taxes on social work services.**
Fees for services by Masters Level University Students/Interns                                                                                                                                                             
Our current interns are from the Master of Social Work Program at King’s University College (UWO) and the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Program at Yorkville University.
Interns provide counselling as part of their practicum experience at Centrepeace Counselling & Therapy Services. They are not paid for their services. Fees to see our interns cover administrative and office expenses and the interns’ supervision by a Registered Social Worker (MSW). Most insurance companies will cover the cost of counselling by a social work intern, as they are supervised by a MSW, RSW. Please check with your benefit provider to ensure these services are covered prior to your initial appointment.
Reduced Rates: Fees to see a Student/Intern range from $50-$90 per 50-minute session; and $70-$130 per 80-minute session. Fees are based on a sliding scale. Contact our director at to discuss fees in more detail.
Pamela Bailey is an approved provider for NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefits) for First Nation and Inuit clients. She and any Intern under her supervision offer direct billing for NIHB clients only.
Payment by e-transfer or credit card is required in advance of sessions. Please inform your therapist before your sessions as to how you would like to pay. A receipt will be emailed to the client/parent after the session, when payment is processed. 48 hours notice is required for cancellations to avoid cancellation fees.
