2SLGBTQIA+ Groups and Events in the London area
PFLAG Canada London
PFLAG is a group of volunteers that supports the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and their family. PFLAG provides education, connection and resources to people of all ages, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They hold support and social groups for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, adults, and parents/family of the 2SLGBTIA+.
This is a drop-in group for youth ages 14-18 who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans*, two-spirited, queer and questioning their sexual orientation and/or gender. OC is open to youth from Perth, Huron, Lambton, Elgin, Middlesex, and Oxford counties. The group includes discussions and activities related to a variety of themes, including: coming out to parents and friends, queer identities, 2SLGBTQIA+ history, survival strategies, accessing community, safer sex, and healthy relationships.
Intersex London offers people with variations in sex characteristics support, and provides resources education to the wider community. It is a volunteer-run group that offers support through email, over tea or coffee, and in monthly groups.
This is a local 2SLGBTQIA+ organization committed to working towards a stronger more accessible and inclusive Queer community. It is part of a number of community initiatives and events. Check out their website to see what is currently going on.
TRANS HEALTH CARE at London Intercommunity Health Centre (LIHC)
Trans Health Care is staffed by nurses, social workers, and doctors. They provide support for folx from the trans* community, in conjunction with primary healthcare providers. They also provide general information and education to community organizations.
